LED costumes appeared in two songs — “Cosmic Explorer” and “STORY” — during the Perfume 6th Tour 2016 COSMIC EXPLORER. The costumes for “Cosmic Explorer” were designed with a layering effect that echoes the thrusters of a space shuttle and allows light to radiate out between each layer. Meanwhile, the garments for “STORY” were devised to represent outer space itself, illuminated with an ethereal internal glow.
