Perfume Anniversary 10days PPPPPPPPPP /Logo Design

2015 heralded a year of anniversaries for Perfume: their 15th year since forming the group in 2000 and their 10th year since signing with a major record label. Their continued success was commemorated with a full schedule of events held over a 10-day span beginning on September 21st, the day they made their major label debut. This logo was designed for merchandise available during the events. In a nod to the traditional sugoroku board game used during a Perfume performance, the logo conceptually explores the rotation of game pieces around the playing board. All of Perfume’s album covers released since their major label debut were analyzed to determine the top 10 colors (excluding black and white).
